The Rogers Award is given by friends of The University of Winnipeg as a tangible means of recognizing and honouring scholarship. The award is to give recognition to a University faculty member for demonstrated excellence in research and scholarship. The recipient of the award is appraised in terms of: national or international reputation as a researcher, published research record, and recognized excellence in the research community. As is customary, the presentation of the Rogers Award is made at the annual Spring convocation held at the Duckworth Centre at The University of Winnipeg.
