Erica and Arnold Rogers Award for Excellence in Research and Scholarship

The Office of the Associate Vice-President, Research and Innovation is pleased to announce that Albert Welter, Department of Religion and Culture received the 2013 Erica and Arnold Rogers Award for Excellence in Research and Scholarship. Dr. Welter will receive this prestigious award at the Spring Convocation to be held on June 6 and 7, 2013.

The Rogers Award is given by friends of The University of Winnipeg as a tangible means of recognizing and honouring scholarship. The award is to give recognition to a University faculty member for demonstrated excellence in research and scholarship. The recipient of the award is appraised in terms of: national or international reputation as a researcher, published research record, and recognized excellence in the research community. As is customary, the presentation of the Rogers Award is made at the annual Spring convocation held at the Duckworth Centre at The University of Winnipeg.
