Social Justice and Aboriginal Governance in the Age of Globalization

As a result of being awarded an “Aid to Small Universities Grant” from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, the University of Winnipeg is poised to focus increased attention over the next three years (2005-2008) on “Social Justice in the Age of Globalization” and “Aboriginal Governance”. Research projects in these inter-connected research fields will be supported by a strong team of researchers and undergraduate students as well as members from the community and government. Conferences, workshops and seminars involving professors and students will be organized in order to promote the exchange of research findings at the national and international level.
