range of research. The University of
Winnipeg, already involved in research
in a wide variety of disciplines, is also
reaching out into inter-disciplinary
research and scholarship. Faculty

crosses traditional academic borders are discovering innovative approaches
to some of societys most complex and
challenging problems.
The facultys inter-disciplinary and multidisciplinary achievements are both enhancing cutting-edge research and scholarship and enriching and are informing classroom teaching. Undergraduate and graduate students are benefiting from a rapidly expanding array of opportunities to participate directly in the creation of new knowledge. The top priority for the Office of Research is to support The University of Winnipeg faculty in building and maintaining some of the worlds very best research programs by engaging the faculty, developing premier multidisciplinary research collaborations and consortia and providing excellent support services.
