Pam Singh is a Registered Social Worker in Winnipeg, Manitoba specializing in the assessment and treatment services of children and families experiencing difficulties and transitions. She is currently working as the Research Project Coordinator at the Needs Centre for War Affected Families. This is a three year research study which endeavours to design and implement a ‘Best Practices Service Delivery Model’ for refugee children within the school system. It will address some of the service delivery gaps that may exist in Winnipeg and attempt to develop a coordinated, comprehensive response to the needs of refugee children.
