Michael Ogborn is responsible for government relations, labor relations, public relations, and administration matters for the company. He serves on the acquisitions team and has participated in every one of the OmniTRAX acquisitions. He has negotiated all of the labor agreements between those OmniTRAX subsidiaries and affiliates that have labor unions and the various unions representing associates on those properties and handles all labor questions at those properties. Mr. Ogborn has also negotiated many of the purchase and sale agreements of acquisitions or dispositions.
Mr. Ogborn is active in the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association, having served on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and the Intermodal Association of North America. He previously served in various management capacities. Mr. Ogborn has a BA and a JD from the University of South Dakota.
