Casual (Short-Term) Parking:

In addition to metered parking on the street and at nearby lots and parkades, The University of Winnipeg has added 81 parking spaces to its campus parking options. The spaces are at two new lots located at:

• 439 Young Street
  (behind Wii Chii Waa Ka Nak—the blue building on Ellice Avenue at Young Street)
• 280 Spence Street
  (behind 520 Portage Avenue—the new home of the Institute of Urban Studies & Menno Simons College)

Rates at the two new lots are $2 per hour, $8 per day, and $2 per evening. Payment can be made in cash (coin or paper), by credit card, or by a new timesaving feature that makes use of cellphone technology.

Long-Term Parking – Faculty, Staff, and Students:

Long-term parking (September 1 – August 31) is available to University of Winnipeg faculty, staff, and students upon request. To request a space, you must complete and sign a parking application each year. Applications are available from Parking Services (located in Printing Services), Human Resources, and in PDF format below. Costs are listed on the parking form.
