Notes:

Fiona Green is a feminist, mother and member of the Department of Women's and Gender Studies at The University of Winnipeg. Her longitudinal research focuses on the dynamic interaction of feminism and mothering as a site of political social change as understood and practiced by self-identified feminist mothers. She has written about the representation of mothers on reality TV programs, and is interested in the trend of mommy blogs. Dr. Green's research on female genital cutting reveals how this practice is not restricted to one cultural or geographical group, but rather has been and continues to be commonly exercised across many groups both historically and globally.
