Margaret Lewis-John
Margaret Lewis-John comes to the MDP from
St. Vincent and the Grenadines, an island nation in the Caribbean. An
accomplished teacher at the secondary level for many years, she has completed
an undergraduate degree in Accounting (Hons) and a Diploma in Teacher Education
at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, Barbados. She also holds various certificates from the
World Bank Institute on Policies for Growth and Parliamentary Budgeting and
from the UNITAR in the areas of Fundamentals of Micro Finance, and
Understanding International Contracts and Loan Agreements. Margaret is an OAS Scholarship recipient, and
is grateful for the opportunity through this program to develop the skills that
are necessary to create positive socio-economic changes in the lives of the
poor.
