Our MDP Stories

As a method of exploring the present and the past, oral history builds people’s capacity to appreciate the complexities of history, to critically evaluate the role of history in society, and, perhaps most importantly, to participate in the making of history. Story telling is a powerful tool for indigenous peoples, women, children, refugees and migrants, working people, minorities, and others as they seek to understand their pasts, to tell their own stories, and to “write” themselves (back) into history. These are our stories.
