As a graduate of the MDP Program, you will be a new class of development practitioners versed in the holistic process with the skills to work with anyone – anywhere in the world.

Message from UWinnipeg President Lloyd Axworthy

UWinnipeg President Lloyd Axworthy“UWinnipeg is honoured to join a prestigious list of institutions to establish this unique graduate degree,” said Dr. Lloyd Axworthy, UWinnipeg President and Vice-Chancellor, former Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Nobel Peace Prize nominee. “Currently, the bulk of development leaders are trained in narrow fields, which limits critical thinking. The MDP program broadens training and provides students with a greater knowledge base. MDP graduates will be more effective and have a better understanding to address the root causes of extreme poverty and the challenges of sustainable development.”
