Our Faculty
Our graduate program is one in which the mentoring relationship between student and professor is vital. Our MDP in Indigenous Development faculty are drawn from diverse departments as well as from the world of development practice.
Many are of Indigenous origins and bring sensitivity, personal experience, and expertise to share with you. They are working with indigenous people and their development issues.
UWinnipeg President and Vice-Chancellor, Nobel Peace Prize nominee and former Minister of Foreign Affairs for Canada, Dr. Lloyd Axworthy, will be one of your instructors.
All faculty members bring a strong commitment to the personal and professional growth of your future development as practitioners as well as the outstanding academic credentials needed to ensure an educational experience of the highest quality.
