Dr. David Telles-Langdon who has been appointed as the Chair of the Department of Kinesiology.  David served as the Acting Chair of the Department for the last 16 months for which we are very much appreciative.  President Dr. Axworthy has appointed him to a five year term.  We look forward to his leadership as we move forward in these exciting and changing times.

The Department of Kinesiology and Applied Health would like to congratulate Ian Fraser for being the recipient of the 2012 Morris Stampede Athletic Therapy Scholarship Fraser is entering his final year in the AT program at the University of Winnipeg. He has worked many events for the Manitoba Athletic Therapists Association (MATA) as well as taking time to head to Swan River this past July for the Manitoba Summer Games.

The Morris Stampeded scholarship is given out annually to a student who shows a dedication to the MATA through working ATS events and being involved in their community.
