New Title for Sale!

The Institute of Urban Studies is pleased to announce the launch of our new book, City Planning as Ideology and Practice. It is a collection speeches by Dr. Earl A. Levin, who has a long history associated with urban planning in Winnipeg and across Canada. He was the Director of planning for Metropolitan Winnipeg in the late 1960s, the head of the City Planning Department at the University of Manitoba in the early 1980s and a Fellow of the Institute of Urban Studies in the mid-1980s. In 2011, Dr. Levin was awarded the Canadian Institute of Planners' first Lifetime Achievement Award in Planning.

This is a fascinating look at urban planning in Canada from one of its leading practitioners.
