* Bordeaux 3, Universit� de Fribourg, and Hannan University Exchanges include provision for taking French and Japanese as a Second Language courses respectively.

** At Bordeaux 3, 4-week courses in French as a Second Language are scheduled in July, August and September. ***At Fribourg there is an additional 3 week intensive language and cultural learning course designed especially for international exchange students that occur in September and March every year. NB: Credit will be given for University of Winnipeg approved courses successfully completed at the partner institution. Credits are transferable upon receipt of an official transcript from the partner institution. Grades will be determined based on equivalencies with The University of Winnipeg Grading System. Students should request a copy of the grade conversion scale prior to their departure.
