Spring Registration starts Tuesday, March 23 and ends Tuesday, April 6, 2010. From March 23 to April 6 students are issued a registration start date and time. This is the optimal date and time you can register. You can, however, plan and prepare prior to the appointment date and time on WebAdvisor.
For more details about the registration process and procedure go to www.uwinnipeg.ca/index/services-registration
Once you have received a Letter of Acceptance from The University of Winnipeg you can begin the registration process. If you need assistance staff in the International Office can guide you.
The first step in the registration process is to complete a mandatory You First Registration Tutorial. This tutorialoffered onlinecovers many important topics:
- How to choose courses
- How many courses to take. Note: International students must enroll as full-time students and take a minimum of 9 credit hours per term (i.e. 3 courses)
- Definition of terms, such as credit hour and fall term and winter term
- Degree requirements
- University regulations
- Deadline dates
Visit the You First Registration Tutorial section of the website. Read through the entire presentation, including the links, and complete the quiz at the end. (You may keep the presentation open while you are answering the questions.) Submit the quiz. When youve received an email with a PDF from the University confirming that youve passed, print the PDF.
You are now ready to put together a timetable of courses and fill out the registration form. For more information visit the Registration section of the main website.
As you complete the forms, if you have questions or need more information, contact International Student Services.
