Required Documents for Registration
4. Letter of Permission [PDF] or Course Selection [PDF]
Please note: Depending on what was indicated on your application, a Letter of Permission should be completed by all accepted exchange students as well as accepted international visiting students who are required to have their home university approve courses.
The Course Selection form should be completed by all accepted visiting students who are not required by their home university to have University of Winnipeg courses pre-approved.
This document must be submitted by the following deadlines:
Fall and Winter Terms - May 31
Spring Term - TBA
As a Visiting Student, you will not need to register for courses -
International Admissions will take care of that for you, once we receive
the Official Letter of Permission/Course Selection from your home
university. A copy of the University of Winnipeg's Letter of
Permission/Course Selection is included in your Acceptance Package.
To see what courses are being offered in an upcoming Term, go to WebAdvisor, choose "guest" and search for course sections; then check for pre-requisites in the "Areas of Study"
section of the Course Calendar. When filling out the Letter of
Permission/Course Selection, please choose courses without
pre-requisites or courses with pre-requisites that you have already
taken at your home university. Make sure your course choices are
approved by your home university - if this is required by your
institute.
