Applying for Admission

 

Take the next step in applying to one of Canada's best undergraduate universities!

Begin your studies in September, January, or May. 


Application deadlines are generally three months before the start of classes to enable you time to obtain a Study Permit and other necessary documents. Please note if you are applying from within Canada, you must submit a copy of your current Study Permit.

Step 1

Start by reviewing the academic Admission Guidelines listed for your country of origin. If you have any questions, please email International Admissions.

Step 2

Ensure that you meet the English Language Proficiency Requirements.

Step 3

You can apply ONLINE or download the application and instructions:

Complete the form, compile the appropriate documents, and make arrangements to pay the fees. Submit application and all supporting documentation by the appropriate deadline. 
 
If you are having difficulty downloading the International Student Application form and Application Instructions, please email International Admissions. 

If you are interested in applying for housing at The University of Winnipeg, please go to the Housing website at www.uwinnipeg.ca/index/housing-index. 

Step 4

We will send you an acknowledgment email as soon as we receive your application. Expect an admissions decision within 2 - 4 weeks after the date we have received ALL necessary documents and information.
