Applying for Admission

 

Take the next step in applying to one of Canada's best undergraduate universities!

Begin your studies in September, January, or May. 


Application deadlines are generally three months before the start of classes to enable you time to obtain a Study Permit and other necessary documents. Please note if you are applying from within Canada, you must submit a copy of your current Study Permit.

Step 1

Start by reviewing the academic Admission Guidelines listed for your country of origin. If you have any questions, please contact the International Admissions office.

Step 2

Ensure that you meet the English Language Proficiency Requirements.

Step 3

You can apply ONLINE or download the appropriate application and guide:

Complete the form, compile the appropriate documents, and make arrangements to pay the fees. Submit application and all supporting documentation by the appropriate deadline. 

The University of Winnipeg is a member of the Canadian University Application Centre.  The CUAC will provide you with admissions counseling, collect your application fees and deliver your application to The University of Winnipeg.  Via the CUAC, The University of Winnipeg has outreach offices around the world.  The CUAC's website www.canada123.org lists its global network of offices, all serving to assist students to study in Canada.

International students can visit CUAC offices to make application to The University of Winnipeg, to receive additional information about programs, to submit documents in support of their application, to receive assistance with the visa application process, and, when required, to be interviewed in support of their applicaiton.

Step 4

We will send you an acknowledgment email as soon as we receive your application. Expect an admissions decision within 2 - 4 weeks after the date we have received ALL necessary documents and information.
