Visiting Students

Students from other Canadian universities and other countries can enroll in The University of Winnipeg as 'Visiting Students' and transfer the credit back to their home institution. Most Visiting Students attend for one or two terms.

Academic Options

If your home institution approves, you will be able to enroll in most subject areas. A list of our departments and subject areas can be found under Departments and Programs at www.uwinnipeg.ca/index/calendar-calendar.

Required Documents

1. A completed Visiting Student Application

2. Application Fee of $100 Canadian

3. Letter of Permission from your home institution that approves each course to be taken at The University of Winnipeg. See Letter of Permission [PDF]

4. Official copy of your university transcript(s) sent directly from your home institution

5. Housing Contract (if desired), available at www.uwinnipeg.ca/index/housing-ind
