International Research and Development
The Research Office works closely with faculties, research facilitators and top-notch researchers at The University of Winnipeg to develop, participate in, and lead diverse international collaborative research initiatives. The office provides information about funding opportunities, regulatory requirements, and policies, forms and contacts that will assist faculty and students in their pursuit of scholarly activities.
The Research Office facilitates the participation of faculty in international research collaboration and development projects by supporting their efforts through all phases of the project cycle including initial conceptualization and design, proposal preparation and submission, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting. The Research Office can assist faculty by:
- Providing guidance on project conceptualization
- Interpreting project funding guidelines and advising on the selection process, as well as the funding requirements of donor agencies
- Providing administrative support to funded projects implemented by faculty within individual departments to ensure compliance with contractual obligations established by donor agencies
- Advising on grant opportunities for research, collaboration, and travel for faculty and researchers.
