Pre-Master of Arts Program in Indigenous Governance

Students holding a 3-year undergraduate degree or whose educational and work background may not have followed a traditionally academic path may be admitted to the Master's program upon successful completion of an individually-designed pre-Master's program which consists of a set of upper-level undergraduate courses.

If accepted to the pre-MA program, the student will be advised individually by the Graduate Chair, Dr. Jacqueline Romanow, who will carefully design a plan of study. Because of the personalized nature of each pre-MA student’s plan of study, it is not practical to provide a Sample Year plan.

When the pre-MA student has successfully completed his or her coursework, he or she may apply to the Master of Arts in Indigenous Governance.

The application process is the same as for the MA.
