Sharon Redsky

Sharon Redsky is a resident of Winnipeg and a member of Shoal Lake #40 First Nation. She is the Manger of The University of Winnipeg's Wii Chiiwaakanak Learning Centre. Previously, she served as the Project Manager for the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre, implementing the “Housing Plus” program, a partnership with the Mental Health Commission of Canada. This initiative sought to address mental health and homelessness, and provided Sharon with the opportunity to collaborate with The University of Winnipeg’s Institute of Urban Studies.
Sharon is an active member of Winnipeg's urban Aboriginal community. She is a member of the Board of Governors with Manito Abhee, a board member with Ndinawemaaganag Endaawaad, a Winnipeg Housing and Homelessness committee member and member of the YM/YWCA Women of Distinction nominating committee.
