Diane Roussin

Diane RoussinDiane is a band member of Skownan First Nation, a reservation community in Manitoba’s western region. She is currently the Executive Director of the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre, an organization she has been involved with for the past 13 years.

The work of Ma Mawi is grounded in a community development approach with a strong commitment to initiatives that create and support local capacity to address quality of life issues at the neighbourhood level.

Diane is firmly committed to the values and philosophy of Ma Mawi and seeks out initiatives that honour and respect the ability and the right for Aboriginal families, children and individuals to care for themselves. Diane holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Social Work Degree.
