Dr. Eliakim Sibanda
Faculty Member, History Department, University of Winnipeg
Sibanda teaches African History at the University of Winnipeg. His most recent publication is "The Zimbabwe African People's Union, 1961-87: A Political History of Insurgency in Southern Rhodesia." Prof Sibanda's research and teaching interests, interalia, include: Human Rights, Oral History, race, class, and cultural studies. He is a renowned speaker and advocate for human rights. One of his Ph.D. dissertions was Human Rights.
