How to Apply

1. Check Admission Requirements

Start with Admission Categories to see what category you fit in to and to make sure you meet general entrance requirements. For some programs at the University, you must also have completed specific high school courses, so check those too. 

2. Note Deadline Dates

For most programs, you can start in any of three terms (fall, winter, spring). The exceptions are some Education and Applied/Joint programs.  To see when to apply for each term, go to Deadlines for Application

TIP for current high school students - Apply early:
Admission with Final Grade 11 Transcripts
(deadline Dec 1)
Early Admission (deadline March 1)

3. Submit your Application Form + Documentation + Fee

Submit your completed application, along with documentation of your past academic record and the application fee.  Click on these links for more information:

4. Wait to Hear From Us!

In approximately two to three weeks, you’ll receive a letter to confirm receipt of your application.  Then you will receive emails from us asking for more information (if necessary) and then a letter notifying you of the decision.  For details, see What Happens After You Apply.
