Bocce and Martini Tournament

Congratulations!

You have been invited to participate in the 2nd annual University of Winnipeg Bocce and Martini Tournament.

The Tournament is dedicated to raising money for The University of Winnipeg's Opportunity Fund, a unique program that helps enable individuals (who may not otherwise be in a position to afford such a pursuit) achieve a future that includes higher education. By registering, you will be helping the university reach its $10-million endowment fund goal. This fund helps to encourage youth as young as 8 years old to strive for higher marks in their educational careers. In return these students can be given tuition credits that can exceed $4,000 upon their completion of high school as a deferred scholarship and bursaries to the U of W.

The location of the Tournament will be on the front lawn of the university, in front of Wesley Hall and Portage Avenue and consist of twenty five teams of four between 1:00pm - 5:00pm on Saturday September 8th, 2012. Martinis and beer will be served as well as: food, non alcoholic drinks and desserts from selected sponsors. The grand champions will be forever remembered on a trophy donated by University President Lloyd Axworthy followed closely by a raffle with high quality prizes from the tournaments generous sponsors.
