GroupWise Client Spam Filter Rule
GroupWise mail that has been identified as probable spam will come to your mailbox with a spam rating in the subject line. It is possible to create a rule to send that mail to it's own folder for later review and deletion. To do so complete the following steps.
Create a New Folder
1.In the Folder List, click "File", click "New", and then click "Folder".
2.Make sure Personal Folder radio button is selected.
3.Click "Next" and type the name and description for the new folder. For example "Spam"
4.Click "Next".
5.Accept the default display settings for the folder and click Finish.
Create the Rule
Rules can be used to organize new messages into folders based on key words in the subject line of the message.
1.To create the rule, click "Tools", click "Rules", and then click "New".
2.Type a name in the "Rule Name" box - for example "Spam"
3.Click the "When Event Is" pop-up list and select "New Item" to trigger the rule.
4.Check the box for "Received" to select for incoming email messages.
5.Check the box "Mail" for Item Type.
6.Select "Define Conditions", click "Subject" and type "?.??/5.00" for the rule to match.
7.Click "Add Action", select "Move to Folder" and check the "Spam" folder that you created earlier. Click "Move" to continue.
8.Click "Save" to finish creating the rule.
Note: your new rule is automatically "active" immediately after you create it.
Now any items with the a spam mail rating will go to the spam folder.
