Fonts in GroupWise 6

There are two ways that you can change your default font in GroupWise 6.

The first method is to switch to HTML

1. Change the "View" setting to "HTML".

To do this go to "Tools", "Options", "Environment", "View" then under "default compose view" and "default read view" select "HTML"

2. Now when you compose a new message an HTML tool bar should appear above the "Message:" field of your new message window. At this point, set you font type and size using the HTML tool bar font pull down menus. When you've chosen which font and size you want, position your mouse pointer over some portion of the HTML tool bar and RIGHT-click on it. You should see a little pop-up menu that has a "Set current font as default" option in it. Choose that option, and you've done it. From that point on, that's the font and size that GroupWise will use for creating messages.

Plain Text Method

In order to do this you have to change the Windows System font size. GroupWise "Inherits" it's font size from the windows system.

Position your mouse pointer on your desktop so that it is not over any open window or icon and right-click and choose the "Properties" option. Inside the properties window, choose the "Appearance" tab. Then, in the "Item" field choose "Message Box", and set the font and size there in the fields below. That's it for the system font size portion. Even if you chose to go with the HTML method - you might want to do this - it will effect mail that you receive in plain text.
