Dial-Up Information
URGENT NOTICE:
The dial up service has been discontinued due to the very low utilization of the service and to allow resources to be focused on other campus wide technologies.
Students will continue to have access to internet services through the campus PC lab facilities such as; Uplink, the Library, Learning Commons and other department lab facilities. In addition, those students with their own personal laptops will continue to have access to the campus wireless network (UW-STUDENTS).
People wishing to continue using a dialup service to gain internet access from home may do so through any of the various local Internet Service Providers including Autobahn, as described below:
Autobahn Dialup Service
The Autobahn Dialup Service is an unmetered package that is offered at a discounted price of $14.95 for UWinnipeg students upon confirmation via a student ID.
