The University of Winnipeg

Human Rights & Harassment Office

The University of Winnipeg affirms the right of every member of its constituencies to study and work in an environment free of harassment. Harassment violates fundamental rights, personal dignity, and personal and professional integrity. The University of Winnipeg expects all members of this community to conduct themselves according to standards of ethics and to behave in a manner appropriate to an institution of higher learning. To this end, the harassment policy applies to all University of Winnipeg students and members of the academic, administrative, and support staff.

The University of Winnipeg has retained the services of an external lawyer, Christopher Kozier, to receive complaints and inquiries under the Respectful Learning and Working Environment Policy and, where appropriate, to assist the parties with dispute inquiries and informal resolution as set out by policy.
