Smartphone Tips
1) When creating a recurring appointment on your smartphone, always ensure that
you have an end date. If you fail to add one, your recurring appointment will
repeat indefinitely, which in GroupWise means it will go to February 2107, that
is 95 years worth!
2) Do not add Birthdays or Anniversaries to your Address Book. There is no way to stop it from populating your Calendar to February 2107, again, that is 95 years worth!
3) Do not add multiple Calendars to your smartphone, remember, your smartphone has direct access to your GroupWise Calendar. Anything you do to your Calendar on your smartphone affects your GroupWise Calendar and in some cases, it repeats indefinitely to February 2107.

4) If you are adding multiple Email
Accounts, iCloud Accounts to your smartphone, you must not allow
Calendar/Contact access, uncheck these. These can interface with both your
GroupWise Calendar and GroupWise Address book causing adverse effects,
duplicates or repeated unwanted entries in your GroupWise Calendar.
5) Do not use Facebook, Facebook will link your Birthdays, Anniversaries, Notifications, etc to your Calendar and repeat it indefinitely. It adds these entries very quickly, removing them can take weeks of your time to remove.
