A World of Opportunity

Our new Asper Centre for Theatre and Film gives you access to state-of-the-art performance, production and teaching facilities. The Centre houses a renovated 120 to 150 seat theatre with specially-designed spaces for rehearsals, teaching, costume, make-up, and prop development. We also offer you labs and studios dedicated to lighting, sound and recording, and film and media production.

Premiere Your Work

The annual University of Winnipeg Student Film Festival gives you an opportunity to showcase your work and present it to a juried panel of local filmmakers, the public, and the local filmmaking community. Cash prizes are awarded each year for: Best Cinematography, Best Director, Best Editor, Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Sound, Best Actor, Best Actress and Audience Favorite.
