Professional,Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) offers a variety of diploma and non-degree programs, full time and part time, designed to help students achieve their personal and professional goals. Global College

The Global College provides students, faculty, visiting scholars, dignitaries, and the community with a place to interact and share their diverse perspectives about issues of global citizenship, human rights, and issues affecting the planet. The Global College includes six active institutes, which are the foundation of academic learning through the college. These include:

  • Institute for Health & Human Potential
  • Institute for Human Rights & Global Studies
  • Institute for Literacy & Transformative Learning
  • Institute for Political and Cultural Studies of the Americas
  • Institute for Children Affected by War
  • Institute for Women and Gender Studies

The Global College also hosts a variety of events throughout the year and offers scholarships and grants to students to assist them with their studies.

Global Welcome Centre

The Global Welcome Centre assists new immigrants to Manitoba with their integration to post-secondary education. They work with the community, high schools and adult learning centres in assisting immigrants with their transition to Canadian universities and colleges.

Menno Simons College

Menno Simons College is the college of the Canadian Mennonite University, located on campus at The University of Winnipeg. It coordinates two programs that are fully integrated into The University of Winnipeg curriculum: International Development Studies and Conflict Resolution Studies. These programs prepare students from diverse backgrounds for preparation and leadership in local and global communities.

The Collegiate

The Collegiate at The University of Winnipeg is the only high school program that is located within a Canadian university. This exceptional high school offers studies at the Grade 9, 10, 11, and 12 levels, and prepares students for the pace demanded by studies at the undergraduate level, along with the supports provided in a secondary school environment. You may attend The Collegiate to complete your high school diploma, to upgrade your high school qualifications, or just for the experience of studying at an exceptional Canadian high school.
