Contracts

All Meal Plan and Meal Program subscribers must sign a contract corresponding to their plan. By signing the contract, you agree to the terms specified on the contract and specified on this page.

There are contracts for each of the meal options:

1) UWinnipeg resident students
2) UWinnipeg non-resident students
3) Visiting Scholar Meal Program (residents who are students at other institutions)

Terms and Conditions

Meal Plans are non-transferable, non-interchangeable and may be used only by the person to whom they have been sold to. You may not lend your card to any other person.

You must present your Meal Plan ID to the cashier when you want buy food with your Meal Plan dollars.

Unused Meal Plan dollars do not carry forward into the following term; they must be considered entirely used up each term.

You cannot transfer funds to another student's Meal Plan card; Meal Plan balances cannot be used to pay other University fees.

Diversity Food Services and the U of W reserve the right to make occasional adjustments to meal times and locations.

Medical needs that may alter the terms of this contract must be presented to the Manager of Campus Living (Food Services) for evaluation. All requests must be accompanied by a certified physician prescription.

All requests for contract cancellations and approvals must be made to the Manager of Campus Living (Food Services). All qualified contract terminations will be charged $150 buyout fee.
