Health, Healing and Wellness Centre - Opening 2014

The new RecPlex will be connected by skywalks to UWinnipeg’s existing Duckworth Centre on Spence Street, which will be renovated to include a new health and healing-based centre offering

• a 4,000 sq. ft. athletic therapy clinic
• a 2,600 sq. ft. multi-professional medical clinic
  
• a pharmacy and medical supplies store
  
• the Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre

The health and healing centre, situated on the main floor of the Duckworth Centre, will employ the expertise of athletic therapists, massage therapists, sports medicine practitioners and general physicians. Services will be open to the student body, the inner city community and the general public, providing an entire block of health care and recreation options.
