Degree Planning

To start planning your degree you want to ensure that you know all of the degree requirements. By using a combination of the Course Calendar and the degree planning worksheet you can cross check your course plan and preplan your registration for each term.

Using the Course Calendar select the elective courses that you are wanting to take.

Write these into your Degree Planning sheet under the correct section – General Major Electives, Concentration Electives, General Degree Electives, Humanities, Science and Social Science Requirements.

Once you have selected the courses that you want to eventually take then you can plan out what prerequisite courses you will need. Write these done on the degree planning sheet as well.

Using the degree planning sheet you will be able to preplan what courses you need to take to complete your degree with the courses that you want.

The degree planning sheets can also be used for tracking your successful completion of your courses. If you keep them up to date with the grades that you have received then you will be able to better track your progression to graduation.
