Important Information about Final Exam Conflicts

By now you should have checked your exam schedule. If you find that you have 2 final exams that conflict, here is the procedure.

Check with each instructor to see if one of them is willing to let you write their exam at a different time or day. The instructor will be expected to supervise this alternate sitting of the exam.

If neither instructor is able to offer an alternate sitting, you will have to submit a formal appeal as follows:

Once the final withdrawal date for BOTH courses has passed, you must see an Academic Advisor, 1st Floor of Centennial Hall, to obtain the appeal form for a Rescheduled Exam. Fill out the form, being sure to indicate the full course title, course number, section number and exam date and time to EACH course, and return it to the Academic Advisor.

The Student Records Office will arrange an alternate time on the same day for you to write one of the conflicting exams.
