Natural Gas Odour / Leak

When a natural gas odour/leak is detected take the following action:

• Evacuate the immediate area.
• If safe to do so turn off the natural gas supply
• Depending on the strength of the odour or size of the leak, contact Emergency Services 911, Physical Plant [204 786] 9839 or Security Services [204 786] 6666 advising them of the location of the odour/leak. (Remember you may have to dial 8 or 9 first)
  
• If the odour/leak is from an off campus site, evacuated the area and contact Emergency Services 911. (Remember you may have to dial 8 or 9 first)
