Summer 2013 Intensive Program


Dates:
Tuesday, July 2nd - Friday, July 26th, 2013

These 4 weeks of classes involve 120 hours of classroom instruction (methodology, grammar, workshops). Classes run Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm.

Practicum placement to follow program in the summer or in the fall. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks to complete the placement.

NOTE: Only the first 10 students registered in this program will be guaranteed a practicum placement.

 


Fall 2013 Program



Dates: Monday, September 16th, 2013 - Friday, October 25th, 2013


These 6 weeks of classes involve 120 hours of classroom instruction (methodology, grammar, workshops) and 10 hours of classroom observation. Classes run Monday  - Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Please note: Mandatory program orientation will be help Monday, September 16th from 9:00am - 2:00pm. Following this, all subsequent Monday sessions are not part of regular coursework, but are strongly encouraged. This is a change from previous terms.

Practicum placement to follow program. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks to complete the placement.


Winter 2014 Program



Dates:
Monday, January 27th - Friday, March 7th, 2014


These 6 weeks of classes involve 120 hours of classroom instruction (methodology, grammar, workshops) and 10 hours of classroom observation. Classes run Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Practicum placement to follow program. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks to complete the placement.

The courses for the full-time ESL Teacher Certificate Program costs $2000. The practicum placement fee is an additional $250, and can be paid when the student registers for the placement. Payment plans are available.
