We will examine five common chronic diseases: Depression, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and Heart Disease, Arthritis and Back Ache, Asthma and COPD.  A Family Physician will present the role of Family Medicine in their management. Specialists with allied health professionals will describe the disorders, show how they can be prevented and how, if suffered, they can be managed. The importance of lifestyle- diet, exercise and stress management will be stressed and the place for medication covered.  Specialists will include –Dr. Mark Lander (Psychiatry), Dr Sora Ludwig (Diabetes), Dr Glen Drobot (Internal Medicine), Dr Amarjit  Arneja (Physical Medicine), Dr Clare Ramsey (Lung Disease).
