Web Development Diploma

(360 hours)

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scene that enables the Internet to work? Students working on completing this diploma will learn about topics such as server side access, scripting, and data access. There is more to the Internet than utilizing it to display static information.




UPON COMPLETION OF THIS PROGRAM LEARNERS WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Build Websites using database driven technologies
  • Create efficient user interfaces
  • Develop applications that will function over any distributed networking scheme
  • Identify current trends in the IT industry
  • Identify the characteristics of a successful e-Business
  • Use programming languages tailored for the internet

  • Web Design Level 8: Programmatic Multimedia (Flash)

  • MS Web Development Level 1: ASP.NET Level 1 - Fundamentals
  • MS Web Development Level 2: ASP.NET Level 2 - Data Access
  • MS Web Development Level 3: ASP.NET Level 3 - State and Deployment
  • UNIX Web Development Level 1: CGI with PERL
  • UNIX Web Development Level 2: Basic MySQL and PHP scripting
  • UNIX Web Development Level 3: Advanced MySQL and PHP scripting

UNIX Administrator (21 hours)
