Advisory Council

In order to keep up with the rapid advancements of technology and ensure that our students are proficient in the skills desired by employers, the IT Program area has created the Information Technology Program Advisory Council (ITPAC).

ITPAC is a diverse cross-section of IT specialists from both the private and public sectors, IT sector education and job market analysts, and representation from the University of Winnipeg’s Applied Computer Science Department. The following is a list of ITPAC members:

ITPAC’s mandate is to ensure that the Division of Continuing Education provides appropriate training for the Winnipeg job market at the appropriate time. We believe that by meeting this mandate, our students will learn the marketable skills, which will allow them to pursue their job of choice in a field related to their studies. Potential employers will also benefit knowing that the programs are constantly changing to meet market demand.
