KNOW HOW
to achieve personal growth throughout your life.
Stimulate your mind and remain an intellectually active, vital member of the community as you approach or enjoy retirement. From a study of film classics of the 1940s to current world events, the 55 Plus Program offers non-credit courses that deliver know how as diverse and interesting as the students who attend them.

The 55 Plus Advisory group comprises of 12 - 16 students of the program. These individuals sign on for 3-year terms and assist the UWinipeg DCE in determining the program structure and future courses. If you are interested in more information please contact n.stokes@uwinnipeg.ca.
Life Long Learning Certificate
In an effort to recognize the commitment of students who have participated in the 55 Plus Program for ten years or more, we are awarding the Lifelong Learning Certificate. If you have taken at least one course per term over ten years, i.e. a total of 20 or more courses over ten years, you are eligible to receive this certificate. The ten years need not be consecutive. Certificates will be awarded at the Annual General Meeting of the 55 Plus Program Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 12:00pm. Application Deadline is March 1st.
