Overview

The University of Winnipeg has chosen Desire2Learn as the new Learning Management System (LMS) to replace outdated versions of WebCT and Learn (Sakai).

In Fall 2010, a committee was struck to review the state of our current LMS systems. The Committee consisted of  faculty across various disciplines and technology staff members, with the goal of selecting a new  LMS that would meet the current and future needs of the University. After a lengthy review process, the Committee unanimously chose Desire2Learn, a Canadian provider of enterprise teaching and learning platforms.
