Convocation, Spring 2005

Congratulations!

Chancellor H. Sanford Riley, President & Vice-Chancellor Lloyd Axworthy, the Board of Regents, members of the University Senate, and the Alumni Association invite faculty, staff, family, friends, and the public to honour the graduating class at Spring Convocation. The entire University community also extends congratulations to the University's honorees, listed here.

The University’s 79th Convocation will take place:

Sunday, June 5, 2005
University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre (Spence at Ellice)

10:00 a.m. - Morning Ceremony:
- Degrees will be awarded in Science and Education
- The Marsha Hanen Award for Excellence in Creating Community Awareness will be presented to Randy Kobes (Physics)
- Co-recipient John Lehr (Geography) will receive the Clifford J. Robson Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching
- The Valedictory Address will be given by Erika Bock

3:00 p.m. - Afternoon Ceremony:
- Degrees will be awarded in Theology and Arts
- The Robin H. Farquhar Award for Excellence in Contributing to Self-Governance will be presented to Keith Fulton (English)
- Co-recipient Mike McIntyre (Psychology) will receive the Clifford J. Robson Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching
- The Valedictory Address will be given by Margaret Carlyle

Congratulations are extended to all of the award winners.
