Aboriginal Governance and Globalization
Facilitator: Ms. Brenna Latimer
, Ms. Dawn Maracle and Ms. Pawa Haiyupis
Location: Riddell Hall

Local students are invited to participate in Youth Open Space Technology sessions, organized by the National Centre for First Nations Governance. The open space in Open Space Technology derives from the observation that gatherings arranged in a circle generate greater openness in communication. The goal of Open Space Technology is to create time and space for participants to engage deeply and creatively around issues of concern to them. The agenda is set by the participants, and typically, meetings result in transformative experiences for the individuals and groups involved. Students participating in these sessions will have the opportunity to present their thoughts and findings on the final day of the symposium.
