The University of Winnipeg Alumni Association AGM and Elections
Candidate Application Deadline is June 14th, 2011The University of Winnipeg Alumni Association Council invites you to get involved by standing for election to Council. The Alumni Association is a non-profit organization that supports the goals of the University and promotes affiliation among graduates. The University's vision for downtown Winnipeg and leadership in academic excellence, Aboriginal education, sustainability and environmental studies, and theatre and arts make volunteering on the Council a rewarding experience.
Newly elected members will serve a three-year term, beginning in June 2011 and ending in June 2014. The Council meets monthly but members will also participate on communications, events, volunteer & special projects committees which meet separately as required. Council members also work closely with alumni representatives on The University of Winnipeg Board of Regents.

Elections will be held at The University of Winnipeg Alumni Association Annual General Meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21st, 2011 in Riddell Hall at The University of Winnipeg.
