Part Time/Mature Students’ Centre: A Place to Retreat

Come to the Part-Time/Mature Students’ Centre to take the edge off university life. There is a microwave, comfy couch and other necessities. You can use the Centre as a quiet place to relax and retreat. Feel free to make suggestions; after all, it is your Centre. UWinnipeg Celebrates Adult Learners!

For the first time, The University of Winnipeg celebrated International Adult Learners Week (IALW) April 2 to 9, 2011. This week was designated by UNESCO’s Canadian Commission as a time to recognize adult learners across the country and celebrate the joy of learning throughout life.  Read more>

PLAR Coordinator Travels to Malaysia

UWinnipeg's Coordinator of Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) Barbara Read was invited to give a presentation at a seminar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Barbara said she was thrilled to be part of this grassroots initiative which drew over 225 participants.  Read more>
