The University of Winnipeg offers a full range of programs, including undergraduate and graduate degrees, applied and joint programs with other colleges and universities, English language programs, and post-graduate diplomas and certificates. We even have our own high school.

Undergraduate Studies

There are five faculties – Arts, Business, Education, Kinesiology, Science – offering 3-Year, 4-Year, and Honours bachelor degrees. Students can also enrol in applied and joint programs, as well as our unique pre-professional streams that provide you with the preparatory courses needed to fulfil the admission requirements for such areas as Medicine, Law, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Optometry.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies includes master’s degrees in Arts, Science, Development Practice, Marriage and Family Therapy, and a variety of joint programs with the University of Manitoba.

Professional, Applied and Continuing Education (PACE)

PACE offers a variety of full-time and part-time diploma and non-degree programs, designed to help students achieve their personal and professional goals. You may choose to take a course in a specific area, or pursue one of our diploma programs to upgrade your qualifications and gain practical experience in your field.

English Language Program (ELP)

ELP welcomes international students from more than 30 countries each year. They offer programs such as Academic and General English, Short Term Intensive English, Canadian Work Experience and ESL Teacher Certificates. ELP is also an authorized test centre for CanTEST (Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees) and TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication).

The Collegiate at The University of Winnipeg

As the only high school program that is located within a Canadian university, The Collegiate is an exceptional secondary school that offers studies at the Grade 9, 10, 11, and 12 levels. It prepares students for the pace demanded by studies at the post-secondary level, along with the supports provided in a secondary school environment. You may attend The Collegiate to complete your high school diploma, to upgrade your high school qualifications, or just for the experience of studying at an exceptional Canadian high school
