Jeremy Read - Biography

Senior Executive Officer and Advisor to the President

Jeremy is responsible for the day-to-day management of President Lloyd Axworthy's Office and serves as the President's senior advisor. He coordinates the activities of the senior administration including the Senior Executive Group and Senior Management Council, manages the President's office and staff, works on specific strategic initiatives asassigned by the President and works closely with the President's Executive Assistant to manage the President's meetings, appointments and travel schedule. 

A UWinnipeg alumnus (BAH'98), Jeremy comes to the University from the Government of Manitoba's Department of Advanced Education & Literacy where he was most recently Lead Province Coordinator for the Council of Ministers of Education - Canada. He has also served in the Federal/Provincial Policy Support Unit at Manitoba Health, and as Special Assistant to the Minister of Advanced Education & Literacy, and to the Minister of Water Stewardship.
