Accepted International Students

My Arrival Date

Students AnXPlease note that you may arrive in Winnipeg up to two weeks before the term begins, but you must arrive no later than seven days after the first day of classes.

Arriving early will give you enough time to get settled into residence, check in at International Student Services (ISS), attend the special International Orientation and complete any other necessary preparations.

It also means that you will be prepared and ready to begin your studies; nobody wants to be jet-lagged on the first day of classes!

What happens if I arrive after classes start?

If you arrive after the start of classes, stop by International Student Services (ISS) to check in and receive your orientation information. Please bring all your documents including passport and study permit. The ISS staff will be able to answer your questions. It is also a good idea to contact your professors directly to get your course outlines and find out what you missed.
